*The scene opens up to Spiker’s office inside the former OWF Headquarters. The Boss’ Chair is turned around backwards across the desk, and there are papers laid out on the desk. On the walls behind the desk are pictures of OWF Matches. To the Left there are 2 pictures. The first is a picture of Genocide and Darkness squaring off on top of the Hell on a Cell. The second picture is from Cadaverus vs. Spiker for the Primetime Title, where Pain came out of the crowd and stole the victory. On the other side of the desk there are another 2 pictures. One is of Spiker atop the ladder in UVW reaching for the Violent Title; the other is from the very first Innovator Match. Spiker is standing over Pain’s broken body holding both the OWF Primetime and UVW Violent Titles high above his head. The chair swivels around to show Spiker sitting there. He is wearing an all Black Suit, The pants, jacket, even the shirt is black. His hair is slicked back and he has a look on his face nobody has seen since the last time he stepped in an OWF ring*
Spiker: It has been a complete year since OWF last had a show. Everyone had presumed it was long gone, never to be seen or heard from again. Well, those people were almost right, but I had to do something to thank them for their loyalty. That’s where OWF Annihilation comes into the picture. One Last Show, held in Glendale, AZ, to get the cheap pops and the final matches for some of the greatest men to ever grace a wrestling ring. We will crown the Final OWF Tag Team Champions after the titles have been vacant for over 2 years. We will determine who really does deserve to hold the Primetime Title last. The OWF Heavyweight Title will be fought over in 3 Stages of Hell between the final Champion from Lonewolf’s Management, and the Only Champion under my management. Speaking of Lonewolf, the boss himself is in a Management match against The Game and a surprise Guest that I am not at the liberty to reveal before he feels it necessary to reveal himself. Tower & Switchblade return to face each other one on one, and then…We get to the biggest match of the night. Pain & I face off, 1-on-1 for the first and last time ever. In all honesty, I believe this will be Pain’s last ever match inside the squared circle for any company, and it will be against me. After everything that has went down between he and I, inside and outside of the ring, this match will be the most brutal, most deadly bloodbath in recent history.
Spiker: Every time this match has been scheduled to happen Pain has always found some excuse to not show up. Whether it was “I’m Sick”, “I missed My Flight” or just simply “I Don’t Feel like wrestling this week” didn’t matter. Simply put, Pain always chickened out at the last minute on me. That’s why Annihilation is being held right in his backyard. Pain resides in Tucson; Annihilation is making its home in Glendale. If Pain finds an excuse to miss this match than he will easily become the laughing stock of Arizona. But, I know Pain has already given this lesson, but let’s go over it, just to keep all the little kids at home up-to-speed…
Spiker: It all started 2 years ago. I had been out of work for a couple years, when I ran into a nice guy at a coffee shop. A big guy, tattoos all over his body, but for some reason I didn’t seem intimidated by him. If anything I wanted to kick the shit out of this guy because he was so full of himself. He mentioned to me he was opening up an old company of his, UVW, and asked if I would be interested in joining. I agreed, and a “friendship” so-to-say, bloomed. I lost the Battle Royal at the opening show, causing me to lose the World Title opportunity. But shortly after that, Pain came to me with an idea…he wanted me to hold the UVW Violent Title. A very prestigious title that only 2 men had ever held before, I was to become the third. I agreed, seeing it as an opportunity to push myself and maybe raise myself to a level to become Heavyweight Champ. But, unfortunately, UVW shut down shortly after that and I was left with the UVW Violent Title in my trophy cabinet and nothing to do with it. A couple months passed and I hadn’t heard anything from Pain. Then, one day, he contacted me and informed me of a new company he was in by the name of OWF. He asked if I would want to come and possibly have a chance of teaming with him. I gratefully accepted, and immediately sent off an Application to OWF Commissioner, Lonewolf. I was added to the active roster the following week, and given an immediate Title shot against Cadaverus for the Primetime title. Everything was going my way, I was set to become a champion in only my first match…but then, who shows up, none other than The Innovator Himself, Pain. He interferes in my match, passes Judgment, and steals the Primetime Title from right under my nose. That’s where everything goes bad. I showed up at the following show with the UVW Title draped over my shoulder, and this drove Pain to the point of insanity. He came up with his own master creation, An Innovator Match. So, as I am always up for any challenge, I accepted and the match was set. But it wasn’t to be held in OWF, because Lonewolf was afraid for our well-being and didn’t want any injuries and/or deaths to be held over his head. So he signed the match to an alliance show. This was a big mistake, because it was one of the greatest matches of my career, but it was never fully aired. It was filmed as a Dark Match before the show opened, and all that was ever shown were some simple highlights and me standing with the victory.
Spiker: Now it was shortly after this disgrace the Lonewolf decided he could no longer do the job of running the company. He needed to find a successor, or else shut down the OWF the same way UVW had. Instead of turning to his friend and fellow former CEO, Pain, he turned to a complete stranger…Me. This was a surprise to even me, because the only other time I had taken over a company it had faltered pitifully when my work ethic collapsed and I just gave up. With OWF, It was the exact same story. I kept the company going for a single month, and in that one month I made more enemies than friends, and by the end of it I’m sure the only people that liked me were the fans. Because I know absolutely none of the roster did. I collapsed, handed CEO duties back to Lonewolf, and basically disappeared off of the planet. Lonewolf put together a single show before realizing also that his efforts were futile, because most of the roster had jumped ship to the reopening UVW. But, it was another failed adventure as well. Pain managed to hold approximately 3 shows before closing down UVW for the 3rd, and possibly final, time. Pain and I had disappeared. Nobody talked to or heard from either of us for months, and we didn’t want to talk to anybody anyhow. And then, I came up with this idea. One Final Show. Get the entire OWF cast back together for one final run to make everyone say “What the Fuck?!” one last time. As well, the Innovator Match will be aired live for the first time ever!
*Spiker stands from his chair and takes down all 4 of the pictures off the wall. He packs them into a box at the side of his desk and then continues tidying his office up. Packing up the important stuff into boxes, and anything else gets tossed into the trash.*
Spiker: This is the last time this office will ever be seen. I have been informed by the company we lease this building from that we have until the end of this week to move everything out, and then the floor space will be sold to a new leaser. So, Pain, open up your spare bedroom…I’ma have to bunk with you for the rest of the week.
*Spiker stops for a moment to look serious…then he breaks into hysterical laughter.*
Spiker: HAHA…As if, that would be funny though. As for Annihilation Pain, I will show up not as the little kid you found in that coffee shop two years ago. But as a grown man ready to show you that the victory in the Innovator Match last year wasn’t just a fluke. I hold a pinfall victory over you to my credit, and what have you done recently? Lost to Darkness??
*Spiker starts laughing again, but then he stops with a serious look on his face.*
Spiker: Oh wait, that wasn’t funny. I mean, EVERYONE knows you can beat Darkness…Even though you obviously took him too lightly at that Breakdown. You looked past him Pain, and that was your downfall. At Annihilation, there is nothing to look forward to. You can’t look past me, because after me all there is in your life is sitting at home looking for a real, hard-work, job. I will return to the ring in different companies until my body tells me it can’t go anymore, but with you Pain, There’s nothing left. I keep coming back for the fans, to give them something new and exciting to watch every time I step in the ring; the only person you return to the ring for is Pain. You need to prove to yourself that you still have what it takes. That’s why you threw your hissy-fit after losing to Darkness, because you finally came to the realization that maybe you are dropping off in talent. Everyone else is slowly improving and making themselves better, while you are falling off slowly into Opener status again. That’s why I gave you this final match Pain. I will carry you through your final match. I will make you look like you actually deserve to be in the Main Even, and not just opening the card every night losing to someone new to the company. Pain versus Spiker, the match that has been coming for FAR too long now. Pain’s last match of his career against a fresh and fired up me. Mark it on you calendar Pain, August 13th you need to be in Glendale, because I wouldn’t want you to miss your last chance to be the star of the night!
*Spiker turns and continues packing what’s left up into boxes. The camera slowly fades out to the OWF Logo, followed by a commercial for OWF Annihilation.*
